Under 35
PRESENTATION
Since its foundation, Kuraia has been firmly committed to the youngest creators, offering them the opportunity to rehearse, premiere and disseminate their works in a professional environment.
Ensemble Kuraia collaborates on a continuous basis with important music centres of higher education, among which the following stand out: Universität der Künst and Hochschule für Musik in Berlin, Conservatorium “A. Boito” of Parma and “G.Verdi” of Milan (Italy), University of Morelia and Puebla (Mexico), Conservatory of Lima (Peru).
It currently has two collaboration agreements in place with Musikene- Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco and with the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Navarra.
These agreements are a valuable training tool for young composers, enabling them to face a very competitive reality, to forge a solid personal path and, in some cases, to receive the first acknowledgements for their works.
The works selected below are the fruit of the most recent collaborations and show a broad panorama of the plurality of tendencies offered by young avant-garde creation.
